They were mad because Fitzpatrick got slammed to the turf trying to return a pick for a TD by a OL. They got so embarrassed they had to swing at the other team for a couple of plays in a row. I saw at least a couple of Bama players that should have been ejected.

Sounds like Fournette.

This was related to a cut block into the side of his knee after the brace was put on. Saban mentioned it at the end of the game. He said that's why the players were chippy. Washington took some cheap shots at Foster

I think "hitting in football" doesn't actually refer to throwing punches.....

Foster was clearly in the wrong and UW was playing dirty and they got into his head.Exactly what they were trying to do. It is what it is. The thing is, everybody in the country knows the cheapest shot in 2016 occurred in week 1 and came from some irrelevant 4 loss sec team. Hello pot, this is the kettle.

What kind of response is that....shaking head? Instead of answering what should be done you point out LSU's cheap shot.

First of all, retaliation doesn't change the fact of what he did

And secondly, cut blocks are legal plays

What a way to start the season letting a crappy Big 10
team beat you.

Let's laugh at L6U

You're reaching....it was nothing and 72 was holding and was more deserving of a penalty imho

You obviously didn't see the punch I'm talking about.

I didn't say they weren't legal but they are not legal to the side of the knee. There are rules to
Cut blocks for instance it has to be off the LOS. It can't be in the back field as he ran past you because you're frustrated he has whipped your arse the whole game. It wasn't a legal cut block.

It does not. The LSU's players offense is much worse and had the potential to do much more damage than an arm punch on the ground to a kid wearing a helmet. Get off your high horse.

Yeah, I saw Foster go for the knees and was surprised/not surprised the commentators didn't say anything at the time. Let's be honest, Bama players launch themselves into the opposition, often high, to try to blow them up while knowing they can hurt the guy. Foster loves trying to kill people. Now they bitch about the other team being too rough? Just be glad you won a big game against a good team and move on.

I literally just gave the link to the video that shows radio foster diving for the knees and then throwing a punch.

Don't remember a lot of LSU fans defending the guy.

We elect you as the moral conscience for tRant and you're right there should be no hitting in football.

Really????? That response was sad. I believe in a physical game.....just no punches to the head....Damn....what kind of response was that....shaking head.....

and an Ole Miss player got away with an obvious helmet to helmet against Hurts. Not mad about it, but you guys need to realize your teams aren't exactly filled with good sportsmanship either.

The Wisconsin kid wasn't even looking, by far the cheapest shot of the year and could have ended the guy's career. LSU fans have no right to bitch about this.
