Oh well, I had never heard it before I joined the rant either way.
But it is obvious that LSU fans HATE it, that is why it sticks and will never go away.

Someone said it smelled like corndogs in TS I believe. Grew from there. And to be quite honest about it, most LSU fans don't care about it all. Because, as has been said, it really makes no sense. The ones who get so pissy are just upset because even though they keep saying it doesn't make sense, no one listens. Myself, I like a mutha fricking corndog. Even more than that, I like funnel cakes. Yeah, random as frick, but who cares. We talking carny food and I'm 3/4 drunk.

Corndogs are damn good not gonna lie
ETA: only if they're crispy. I like them a little burnt. Hate soggy corndogs I won't even eat them. I'll throw them away

They are damn good. And I like the batter well cooked too.
In fact, I just now ate a couple of State Fair corn dogs and shared one with my hound dog 'cause she likes 'em too.

I would not think fast food corndogs would be any good. I had a corndog that was made from scratch at the Liberty Bowl a few years ago. Now that shite was excellent.
