This thread is to prevent you from continuing to look ignorant.

I have attached two Wikipedia pages (if you can read) that clearly states Charles Mclendon had 137 wins and Miles has 114.

137 is more than 114.

3 years ago: LOL, LES SUCKS. CAN'T RUN AN OFFENSE. WON A TITLE WITH SABANS PLAYERS

Today: Wow I can't believe you fired the best coach in program history. He won a national championship and you fire him mid season????

He has three best winning percentage not most wins.

People seem to keep mixing those up

Were they talking total number of games, or winning percentage? I think Les was around 70%...Charlie Mac was somewhere around 55%.

Miles was far more successful though, he just didn't have as many years. LSU had 2 lucky roles with their last 2 coaching hires, let's see what happens this time.

From the wiki link in the OP:
quote:

Despite all of LSU's success during this period, the Tigers only had a 4–7–1 record against Ole Miss and a 2–8 record against Bear Bryant's Alabama Crimson Tide. 1970 was the only year in which McClendon beat both Ole Miss and Alabama in the same season. Not coincidentally, this was the only year that a McClendon-coached team won an SEC title.

I think we can all agree, ol' Cholly Mac was much more indicative of your program's history than Miles was.
