Tillman you're the biggest fanboy I've ever witnessed your opinion is literally worthless. I've never seen someone so blindly support a team with 0 objectivity on the subjects. Clemson does no wrong in your eyes. When your team loses you have excuses like Deshaun Watson wasnt starting yet and when your team wins it's simply because your team is great. You're like discussing things with a child, "my dad is better than your daddy" In the midst of your never ending edits you've actually tried tellin me Deshaun Watson is overrated and your team would be just as good without him. You're a joke and so are your opinions. In your opinion Clemson is literally infallible so discussions with fanboys like you are just pointless.

you cannot articulate as to why you expect Clemson to win every big game but hold this expectation for no other program, while at the same time you argue Clemson isn't a good program.

If isn't a good program, then why do you expect it to win every 'big' game. a team can't blow a game if it isn't that good.

I can just as easily call you a UGA fanboy. obviously I'm a Clemson fan.

My point regarding Watson is he wasn't superhuman last year and he made mistakes that contributed to the Pitt loss and almost cost CU other games like his pick 6 in the NC State game. you guys are insistent that Clemson was a one man team last year, that's why I made this point.

I have never denied Clemson has had bad seasons and bad games and average seasons. lol So has every program.

I also never had any expectation CU would win at UGA a few years ago with a new QB and several starters suspended on defense. I believe that was the year after Sammy Wakins and Nuk Hopkins and Martavius Bryant all left too so CU was relying on WRs who had not played as much. that's not an excuse, that is acknowledging that UGA was better at that time.

Congrats. You beat a non existent offense and a tired defense in a revenge game. I'd feel bad too if I let a polish orphan and underused tightend drag their nuts all across my team the previous year

I get that there is more to Clemson than Watson. I get that you guys have done some outstanding recruiting lately.

But I think you are wrong about that.

You guys beat Louisville. If something had gone a little bit differently you might have lost to them.

I picked them because they are another team that most college football fans immediately think of their qb when they heard the name. Just like Clemson last year.

You guys had better talent than Louisville across the board. Maybe you had better coaching, maybe Louisville did, I dunno.

But you almost lost that game.

I'm going to most likely get responses that are negative, but I'm going to say something.

The spread not only hasn't been solved, it cannot be stopped - if you have an elite qb. But not just any elite qb, he actually has to be able to do both.

Now there is one other way to stop it. To have overwhelming talent on your defense as opposed to their offense. But that differential has to be extreme.

Alabama had better athletic talent on that defense than you had on the Clemson offense. But you still won. The differential wasn't enough in this case.

Otherwise I dunno, sometimes the qb is just off that day and the offense doesn't do well. But it is not really a case of some great gameplan or a supergreat defense.

So what I'm saying is that not only were you guys a qb driven team, if you didn't have Watson, if you didn't have a mobile passing qb you wouldn't have won.

But you did win. Just like Mississippi beat Bama a few times, and Manziel did.

Even though in your case (and the others) Bama had better talent almost at every other position on the field.

If your next qb isn't as good as Watson (and mobile), well I'm not sure I'd pencil you in for a New Year's day game. LSU and Alabama can pull that off with a hand-off qb, but I don't think you guys can.

And I'd worry a lot more about Louisville next year than FSU. Just my take though.

If there were such a thing, do you think I would cry about you posting there for two days straight?

I see that you don't limit your posts to a Georgia board; why is that? Maybe you like to hear what other fanbases have to say?

Wow. No one saw that response coming. Brag about conference championships until you find out Clemson has more. "Well, anyone can win the ACC! That ain't shite! Am I right?"

When did I shite on Clemson? Care to link a post?

But you're correct, anyone can win the ACC. very low quality of play outside of FSU and sometimes Clemson puts up a pretty good team.

Sorry for being a dick, then. Everyone else shits on Clemson, I just assumed you were too.

Usually you're correct. It's almost always tough to beat FSU; we're in a similar boat with LSU in that regard.

Definitely very similar. I swear we lost our Mojo when y'all beat us. That was the most upset I've been over a game, after that loss I've mellowed out on my fandom.

i don't think that's true. that's the narrative that so many Bama brown nosers like to push.

CLemson had 4 WR with 90 plus yards and the defense dominated Bama on 3rd down. they were 2 out of 15 on 3rd.

Clemson had 5 turnovers in the Lville game, 4 in the 2nd half.

Also don't think it is true Clemson was light years ahead of Lville in talent. they had some good players and that QB is tough to stop.

why is a penn state talking trash and brown nosing Alabama. lol

the fact the TE was underused all year was an advantage for them in that game. they still lose if not for the two special teams play in the 4th. you leave that part out because you are a hack.

you don't think Clemson's defense was tired too. lol always hear about how Bama is better at every position except QB but sounds like you are saying they had no depth on defense.

i don't understand how anybody can think they are better at WR and TE was at least a draw.
