I admit I would watch baseball more often if they had shorter games like softball. Short and sweet. I don't have that much time in my life right now to watch a 3 hour game every single night. It is just as exciting however, I will give you that. Best of luck SEC baseball. Crush it for the SEC!

College baseball USED to be a lot of fun to watch. Before the bat changes in the days of Gorilla Ball.
Now it's the same as all other baseball; only good to watch with a beer and be lazy on a slow day. It's basically fishing or golf, except you don't have to get off your arse to occasionally do something. Enjoyable and relaxing, but fun or exciting moments are usually few and far between.

Murph's legacy will be built on 2 things..
1. Building a program from scratch to national prominence and winning the first title for the south
2. How he ultimately responds to the rise of Auburn and the face of softball in this state.
Auburn will not go away any time soon, you can't wait for them to stumble, it's time to rise once again. I think the next few years have the potential to see this state dominate the national scene because of this rivalry.

Great series Auburn. Much respect to the AU ladies. I enjoyed that series more than any baseball series I've seen in a while.

The "Run-Rule" is pretty spot on in softball right now given how many games are played.
Umpires and rotational "coaches" rule college baseball right now.
Let those kids have fun. Strike zone Nazi's are ruining the game.
Give those kids a break and let them win it to win it to have fun.
It's merely a game after regionals. "Everyone" has won after that fact. No need to make it a gladiator event.

Damn good season Auburn. I was pulling for your gal's to take home the trophy last night. I was a hard fought series that was fun to watch.
