Sparty told us how well they travel all preseason long. I have some sort of PTSD experience with teams that "travel well" after last year. There had to be 12k in the stadium and 8k singing Rocky Top outside during the game.

You kicked Sparty's arse. It wasn't even close. When they told me how well they traveled at the game, I just shook my head and said "no."

I almost asked for an overhead picture if there was one, but could you even tell the difference? I mean I guess Oregon would have more yellow and neonish colors here and there.

What about the base greens? Are the shades different?

Sorry, random as frick.

In sparty's defense, they played on the west coast last year in the rose bowl... vols fans haven't been bowling in years.

I'd still say it's pretty impressive that vol fans would travel so well to a game that far away for a team that was obviously the big underdog.

Thanks bisonduck, we had a lot of fun meeting Oregon fans during our home and home series. I don't think I heard one bad thing about y'all as visitors or as hosts but I did hear a lot of praise both times and I know that because of the great experience and fan interactions a lot of Vol fans follow the Ducks as their West team now. Hopefully when we finally get back on track and the teams are more equal we can schedule another series.

Good luck this season.

I would love to go to Eugene if LSU played, no matter how shitty we were at the time.

They probably have to buy 5 tickets for themselves considering the seat size at Neyland.

Good question. We had a yellow out so it was pretty easy to differentiate. Also, in our pregame at the Moshosky center there was probably 1 VOL fan for every 3 people. I probably saw 50 MSU fans in there out of 3k.
