As his team was coming apart at the seams, he made a brilliant move at the QB position. While he has a myriad of problems on defense, he saved his season by putting Murray at QB. They will be competitive in every game going forward if that little guy stays healthy. If they can find a really good DC, who can coach and recruit, they have a nice future in this league.

Thanks for the nice backhanded compliment. I think we'll stick with Chief, baw.

It's not the first time Sumlin has made a "brilliant" move at QB when A&M's latest world's greatest QB fell apart. Kyle Allen was the savior for A&M just last year when Kenny Hill's Heismann winning career cratered. At the start of the season all we heard from A&M, and its fans, was about Allen being the best pro prospect at QB in the country. Now it turns out A&M's problems were not playing a true freshman at QB instead of that can't miss prop prospect.

If Sumlin is so good at identifying who should be playing QB, then why has it taken him half a season to get it right two years in a row?

It was a profound move by Sumlin.

If Aggy administration is smart, they will quickly extend and sweeten Sumlin's contract, lest some big name school grab him.

Step 1) Lose games
Step 2) Start backup qb against worst defense in the conference
Step 3) Profit

Regardless of who we trot out at QB, we still always beat Arkansas. You are the Vanderbilt of the West.

IF Coach Chavis chose to stay at LSU (because it was HIS choice), this would not be the rhetoric coming out of Baton Rouge right now.

LSU has their biggest game of the year this weekend and still have Chavis on their mind?
What a sad thread.

If they are Vandy, it only leaves Kentucky for you.
Calling the ags Kentucky may be unfair, at least UK has a winning tradition in something.

41-28 Arkansas all time record vs aTm. I think that speaks for itself.

It says you're living in the last and haven't beat us since we joined the league.

No other school is dumb enough to pay Sumlin $5 mil a year. He ain't going anywhere so I'm sure you're happy.
