Mett proved he was a team player first and foremost; he laid it all on the line a few times this year and still made the pass.

Agreed, I think mett is a great player.. he really has laid it all out for LSU, hope his injuries heal up with a little off time and he has a great career in the NFL.

he exceeded most of our (realistic fans) expectations. He made a bunch of passes that were pretty damn impressive this season.

As an LSU fan, I can say Mett was fantastic this year. With Cam on staff Mett developed into one of the best in the league.
Watching the pass and catch between him, Landry and Beckham was unreal this year.
Mett left it on the field for LSU and I appreciate what he did.

LSU fans love Mett and his attitude and talent. He has been great at LSU. Didn't win a championship, but as far as his play went, I can't ask for more.

What some other fanbase says about AJ got nothin to do with this.Shouting out the company line when is comes to sports is BS IMO.Its not a Bama/LSU thing,it a player giving everything he has to his team.Gotta respect that.At least i do.
