Kid is good but no way he will be ready to play come last week of August. I have seen him play and he has a long way to go to a maor college start. Also factor in the Miles factor that the odds are enormous of a CLM team starting a true freshman QB over three others who have been in the system at least 1.5 yrs.

I will say that if things head south on offense after a few games then BH may get a shot...

I thought Dobbs was the future at Tennessee? What happened with that one?

based on what? Have you seen him play? In no way does he fit what a Saban QB is.

BTW he will be the #1 going into spring

Don't buy that either. If so, it will be short lived.

Of course I've seen him play... his stats are far better than Coker's

Dobbs was thrown into the mix last year because he was the only healthy QB on the roster. Ferguson had an injured Fibula, and was redshirted. From what has come out of camp since last season was that, if he had been healthy, Ferguson would have been the coaches' first choice over Dobbs.

Dobbs still has an upside, and I believe he and Ferguson both have physical abilities that Worley doesn't have. I have heard from those who have been watching practices that Ferguson is far and away the best passer of the bunch.

Don't see how anyone could buy that.

It's either the mind of a retard or a genius to scramble up words like that. All to basically say, "the QB job won't be given to anyone, it will be earned"....

The QB that just won the SEC is not losing his role to a QB with no SEC experience.

Nick will be even better this season, IMO. Just being in the system a full year will be great for him. I can see JJ getting PT also, he's got a great arm & Gus will use it.

Let's say Marshall gets hurt during the first week of spring drills, and JJ tears it up all spring long. Who you got then?

Let's say Nick Marshall gets attacked and held hostage by a 22 lb diabetic cat. Who you got then?
