Given what we know about the committee over the last 2 years, how do you think they would rank the current field?
My guess:
1. Ohio State 5-0
2. Alabama 6-0
3. Clemson 6-0
4. Washington 6-0
with 5. Michigan 6-0 and 6. Texas A&M 6-0 on the outside.
Do not underestimate the reticence of them to have 2 teams from the same conference in the top 4.

You could flip flop OSU and Alabama or flip and coin to do it and other than that its probably what you have. And it means they meet in the finals either way.
Not that it matters this early.

It's more realistic to look at the spots rather the the teams
1. Alabama or 1 loss SEC CHamp (UT, FLorida, or TAM)
2. OSU/MIchigan/Nebraska or 1 loss UW winning big 10 title game
3. Clemson
4. Washington or undefeated big 12 team (Baylor, WV)
There doesn't really seem like a scenario where spots 1 & 2 change much
Spot #4 is most likely to come open as an undefeated big 12 team is unlikely after league play and Washington has 3-4 losable games. That opens up room for a 1 loss non conference champ like Alabama (if they lose one to TAM and don't get to SEC championship game), Louisville, or the Michigan/OSU loser to get back in the mix.
If spot 3 Clemson loses as well during the season or in the ACC championship , then you potentially get consideration of an undefeated Boise St, Louisville, or a second SEC/B10 team in.

So you know absolutely nothing about college football this year and are basing all of your assumptions on the past because you are an idiot? Gotcha.

This looks right for now. I think you can make an argument for bumping up Clemson but I can see arguments against it. At this point I think Ohio State deserves their spot more than Michigan but that will work itself out later, same with A&M.

Listen shite for brains, ill make it simple so you can understand it.
Washington still plays USC, road games at Utah and Washington St, and a possible PAC 12 championship. They have multiple games that are potentially tricky to get to a CFB playoff.

I think you hit it right on the head.
(except for not having Bama at 1)
