These guys actually broke down and analyzed all 850+ games. Here are their 1st and second team AA's from the SEC. Keep in mind that it is pro football focus, so their primary concern is how a player translates to the NFL after this season.
RB: Leonard Fournette - LSU
Edge: Derek Barnett - UT
Edge: Myles Garrett - A&M
Defensive Interior End: Jonathan Bullard - UF
Defensive Interior End: Chris Jones - State
Defensive Interior Nose: Jarran Reed -Bama
Linebacker: Kentrell Brothers - Mizzou
Safety: Marcus Maye - UF

Does that mean DH has to give the trophy back?

Post the actual player ratings so we can watch the Jizz Jar Brigade get butthurt at Barnett being rated higher than Garrett.

Finally something for LSU fans to he excited about since their last game against a back up QB.

I just thought it was interesting. Like with QB's they don't analyze just statistics. They judge the decision and throw itself, so whether the receiver catches the ball or drops it doesn't affect the QB's score on the pass at all. Pretty in depth and legit stuff.

Clearly doesn't factor in big game performances

Where is that Sullivan dude to say that Bosa is overrated?

Everyone on that list is deserving but that site is garbage. There is no accounting for level of competition in their rankings. According to PFF, the best OT in America is the right tackle from Western Kentucky.

I think it would be something interesting to keep an eye on and review in a few years. I'm not sure what this group's rankings looked like last season. I also haven't seen the WKU kid play, but I don't think playing for WKU makes him inferior. For all I know he could legitimately be the best OT, they obviously like his film and skill set. Would be interested to see how he performed against the P5 teams WKU played.
Like I said. They are breaking down play by play, and looking at their moves and skills. Not how they perform in big games or when they get lucky and someone misses a block, just straight up how good they are. IMO it's an interesting way of evaluation, and the only way to really remove the factor of how good the team around the player is.
And they do account for competition played. Which is why their top OT isn't first team AA.

So mid-majors cant have great players?
#1 overall pick not long ago was an OT from Central Michigan

This is how they grade. Every player on every play is graded by an analysts and checked by two others, before being reviewed by coaches with over 400 years of NFL experience, then they are normalized.

Not defending the site, but have you looked at the better players in the NFL, especially linemen and other utility roles? Quite a few of them came out of places precisely like WKU. Until they grow into their full frame, those positions are really hard to evaluate pre-college, so lots of smaller schools get gems.
