Pretty excited for the CWS Finals

I hope LSU wins but hope it goes to Game 3 just for dramatic purposes and to see Lange.
And kudos to CPM for holding Lange for a game that may not happen because he's never thrown on 3-day rest and does not want to jeopardize his career.
Also, it makes an All-SEC finals even better in that LSU & Florida didn't play in the regular season or even a game in Hoover.
Florida clearly with the major advantage in Game 1 with Brady Singer vs. Johnny Wholestaff but it's a three game series and LSU's offense is truly dynamic.
What is the status on Dalton Guthrie? Big loss for the Gators if he's out or not 100%. Dude can pick at SS.
But good luck to both teams but a bit more to the Tigers. Hope to see Alabama in this situation in the next 4-5 years under Coach Bohannon!

LSU lost 2 of 3 to Florida during the regular season...
And if Lange pitched on Tuesday, that would be with 4 days rest since he pitched last Friday (Sat, Sun, Mon, Tues.)...see how that works.

Good post, but Florida took 2 of 3 from LSU at Gainesville Mar. 24-26. Gators took the first two 1-0 and 8-1. LSU rallied from a five-run deficit to win the final game 10-6. The game after that was a 7-6 midweek loss to Tulane that prompted Kramer's "I need to be better" speech that helped LSU turn its season around.
Translation: none of that means a thing now. First team to two wins proves it is the best.

Not sure if serious pal - the morning/afternoon of a day doesn't count as a day's rest. Gotta be kidding right?
If Lange pitched Tuesday, which he won't so this is a moot point, it would be on 3 days rest, not 4.

Useless argument guys. Lange isn't going to throw on Tuesday unless LSU wins on game one and the game is within hand and they bring him in, in relief for an inning or 2.
This just feels like it's gonna go to game 3 and it's gonna be Lange vs Faedo.

He's not going to start him but if we win game 1 and we're up 9-1 going into the 8th I garuntee that Paul gives Lange an inning. He brought back Louis Coleman in 09 and let him throw some in the clinching game.

Florida prob should have swept us to be honest. That was back when we were playing pretty mediocre though. This series is a coin toss

I would love to take it in two but Lange needs three K's to set the LSU all time career record! He could do it in three seasons and the record holder did it in four. However, I hope the trophy is in BTR before he has to pitch again.
