Maybe. Will be tougher this year without such easy games like Tennessee on our schedule.

Stop using V&S's line. Be creative.

1/3 of the preseason top 25 will not be SEC teams. Two teams out of Wisconsin, Minnesota, Nebraska and Penn State will be ranked at the beginning of the season.

- USC will be in my top 4. They are loaded this year but depth is a concern.

They get both @Oregon and Stanford in the NORTH, play in the competitive south division, and take a trip to ND in their OOC. I highly doubt they end top 5 and will probably be outside the top 10. Go look at Sark's away record.

The thread is about the PRE season top 25.

I've seen a few preseason polls with the entire SEC West ranked, or 5+ West teams ranked, for what it's worth.

ESPN - eight SEC teams ranked
Fox Sports - nine SEC teams ranked
Athlon Sports - nine SEC teams ranked

No one fricking cares about team goals in women's basketball.

This board is going to be amazing when UT goes 6-6 in the regular season.

Most people take into account the schedule to determine where they finish. It's called projection.

Could be. Wisconsin is going to carry weight in the polls. The B1G did alright in bowl season so I'd expect that to carry some momentum into the polls next year.

Coach Riley could by sneaky good in Lincoln. He finally can get some big uglies to run his system.

Let's hope so or we'll see Wisconsin representing their side for the next 25 years.

Yeah that's understandable. The QB spot is a big question mark for us that will be either a big hit or miss and will swing a few games.

As far as Cody goes, he was an excellent leader and made big plays but we have a really good juco replacement for him in Tony Bridges. The secondary will be improved as will the defense in general.

We have the running backs to be good (obviously not the talent of Alabama or Georgia there) but it all hinges on our line staying healthy and playing well.

If all the cards fall right, we have everything to be an 11 or 12-win team in the regular season. But if there are injuries, our offensive line doesn't improve, ditto for our running game, and we get negative production from the new QB, we will be a six-win team. Neither would shock me. Luckily, our defense will keep us in every game when healthy and not dealing with continuous short fields.

But I do not think TCU belongs at 2. We lost more than we originally thought we would on defense. Definitely a top 10 team still but I don't think we will be as dominant as we were last season (minus Baylor) until late if we are at all once we fill holes in the defense.

Appreciate the respect tho
