Mississippi has way more rights and freedoms than California. Hell next week anyone will be able to openly carry a gun in public. frick California liberals ruined a once great and prosperous state

How can you say that when MS just ratified an amendment outlawing slavery?
And regardless of what CA's government has done, the state was not "once" prosperous. It still is. If it were its own country it would have I think the sixth-largest GDP in the world.

It's bankrupt. It's resources of course would result in a good GDP buy y'all spend even more than you produce.
That's why cities are going bankrupt due to pension plans and small business is leaving the state in droves.

Dude...it's not like we still had slaves or oppressed blacks because of this. It was just one of those random things where it was forgotten and never "officially" done. But we abolished slavery the same time as everyone else did

I fricking hate dumbasses. Don't you? I can't get on reddit because those idiots think California is a haven and the rest of the country should be like them. And when the 13th amendment was officially ratified, I seriously think that a good amount of them probably thought we still had slaves.
