Syracuse: Different type of team to come to tiger stadium, but they are definitely one of the weaker links in the ACC. We should have killed them two years ago, but we kept shooting ourselves in the foot. Still think it should be an easy W

Probably the worst team in FBS last season. They will get better but they were bloody awful.

I wouldn't sleep on GA southern either. This could be a trap game for you guys too. Just because they run the triple option. I believe y'all will beat them, just don't sleep on them.

Definitely not sleeping on them. I have them scoring 3 times on us, and Auburn is returning 9/11 starters from a defense that was top 10 in scoring and red zone %

We might score less than my prediction since they'll probably be able to run the clock a bit and it being the first game and all.

Could be one of those games that is uncomfortably close at halftime only to pull away in the second half, but I think the talent difference and the amount of experience we return is significant enough that we should be pretty safe.

Wouldn't want to get my hopes up for this season, so thanks for letting me know early on

True, they are just a tough out for anybody... Just ask Florida fans and us GA fans. That offense is a pain in the arse to defend.

No doubt. It'll be a fun and interesting first 2 weeks of the season watching us to from defending the triple option, to going into Death Valley and seeing what Clemson's offense looks like without Deshaun Watson, Mike Williams, Artavis Scott, plus the RB Gallman and their TE Leggett. That's virtually a whole new offense, so not much film for us to watch and it's not like Clemson doesn't have talent to replace those guys.

Lucky our defense had so much experience returning, because that's a hell of a test/ wake up call to start the season.

Yeah that really will be an interesting game. I gues Clemson will be more of a defensive team this year since they return a lot of talent on d but not much on o.

I am very interested to see how they are going to be. I feel like they are going to take a big step back at first, but towards the middle and end of the season they should be back to form.

Definitely more worried about their D than their O. They lost their best LB and a couple good secondary players. But they probably have the best pair of DTs in the country. Lucky for Auburn we return 4/5 OL and the interior is our strength. Plus it'd be hard to find a RB more equipped to carry up the middle than Kamryn Pettway.

Definitely some very very interesting matchup in that game.

I dont see why not.. Bryant and Tavien Feaster running the read option. Deon Cain with the deep threat, Renfrow catching slants. Offense doesnt have to be great. Defense is loaded, will be Venebles best at Clemson

Kelly Bryant will for sure be y'alls starter?

I hope he's not expecting to run like that on Auburn. On the off chance he makes past our front 7, which is a lot better than Miami's btw, our safetys can lay the wood. He'll learn real fast that the pocket is the safest place for him to be .

Im rooting for Bryant to win it. Auburn game being second it will be Bryant most likely. I could see Johnson transferring after this year

I could see that as well. As long as Lawrence holds true to his commitment.
