They could easily lose the next 3, or be upset by Vandy or South Carolina. They could lose to FSU. It is unpredictable because they have struggled, are young, and had a really great win against an unknown Ole Miss team meaning we really don't know how good they are. Is it a trend or an occurrence. Even the best teams tend to lose a game they shouldn't. Otherwise, many teams would go undefeated.

Things could go south for them and lose the Missouri, LSU, UGA, and FSU. The question is, at this point, would Florida fans be disappointed and mad at coach MAC if they lose 4 games?

I think things would turn sour quickly in Gainesville if that happens, and especially if they slip up against Vandy.

bullshite...we going to beat a lot of teams...the Florida State College for Women will be treated like we just treated Ole Miss...maybe worse.

LSU? Beatable
UGA? Ditto
Girls School screwed

If we lose a game it will be to Mizzou....and it will actually help us to get fired up and beat everyone else, I say 11-1, SECCG and beat the living shite out of someone. We will plant the East flag on the 50 yd line in Atlanta.

Hey Montana- I think I speak for millions in Buck Nation that would like to see a UF/OSU bowl game. Storylines all over the place. Hell, I wish both would run the table. But Ohio State has at most 3 ranked teams left and Florida has probably 4 or 5. I don't think either will get to the playoff. But a subpar secondary bowl would make gator land happy, so maybe it will shake out that way.

At this point it seems highly unlikely Florida will lose to Vanderbilt. If I had to bet, we will go undefeated in home games. The team plays differently at home, there is an energy in The Swamp we haven't seen in a while. Fans are coming out of the Muschamp slumber.

No one is expecting us to go undefeated. It is a young team, they will make mistakes but we have seen improvement every game and the team is fun to watch again.

People.are getting carried away about one game against Ole Miss. This is still a team that was lucky to beat a mediocre Tennessee team the previous week and only beat East Carolina by 7points and Kentucky by 5 points. That is the same ECU team that lost to Navy by 25 points and the same Kentucky team that needed overtime to beat Eastern Kentucky. Wouldn't surprise me one bit if Florida loses to Missouri this week

It is a young team with a coach in his first year, there are going to be ups and downs. The thing to take into consideration with all of those games is that we were facing an ECU we just played in a bowl game. UK was fired up and looking to end a 28 game losing streak. It was the same with UT. This team has faced some early obstacles and won when no one was giving them much of a chance.

I posted before the season that 10-2 was a possibility for this team if the QB play improved and the O-line held up. I stand by this although 11-1 or 12-0 is now on the table.

Mizzou - take care of business
LSU - toughest game remaining
Bye
UG - With win at Mizzou and even a loss to LSU, playing for possible East title, we got this
Vandy - should win
USC - should win, HBC?
FAU - win
FSUcks - win in the Swamp

I agree with all of this.

Lack of depth killed us late in the game against UT. More depth and we wouldn't have lost...wait

To be completely honest here is how it should go:

10.10 @ Missouri (4-1) • Columbia
10.17 @ LSU (4-0) • Baton Rouge
10.31 vs Georgia (4-1) • Jacksonville
11.07 Vanderbilt (2-3) • Gainesville
11.14 @ South Carolina (2-3) • Columbia
11.21 Florida Atlantic (1-3) • Gainesville
11.28 Free Shoes U (4-0) • Gainesville

To be honest, now that we have started out 5-0 and we will probably be favored in 4-6 of the last 7 games, anything worse than 10-2 is disappointing.

Of course UF now looks better than I expected.

I say anywhere from 9-3 to 11-1 as of now.

Holy frick there's some delusional people in this, one guy really just said 12-0 with a Freshmen QB, are you fricking serious?

I like how none of you expect your Freshman QB to have a game where he shits himself, it ALWAYS happens. Mizzou is no different with their Freshmen QB.

Florida shouldn't finish worse than 9-3, but 12-0,

Lose the next 2, beat UGA and FSU.

12-0
