vs.Missouri W
@Kentucky W
Furman W
@Auburn L
Tennessee W
@Florida W
vs.South Alabama W

10-2, 7-1

I have a feeling USCe is going to be 7-0, and ranked in the top 5 in the country heading into their game with AU. I think it's a tight game, but USCe can't quite close the deal on the road.

They bounce back in a rough game to finish UT, and with a bye week to get healthy, finish off Florida's season in Gainesville to win the division similar to 2010.

I think Clemson's front 7, if healthy, is one of the best in the country and gives USCe trouble this year. I think Clemson wins, but USCe wins the east.

So many frickin unknowns this year, I don't even know where to begin in making predictions. Not a big Thompson fan here but admittedly don't remember much of his games besides the Mizzou game and he was very underwhelming in that game. I celebrated the day Shaw played his last game.

But I don't even know how to pick their first game cuz I don't know what to expect out of A&M breaking in a new QB as well.

why does everyone assume that the season opener is a lock. that game worries me more than any other game on the schedule.

I think this is pretty level-headed. Clem5on will win this game eventually, and I wouldn't be shocked if this is the year they do it. I expect that to be the exception, not the rule, moving forward, but eventually they will win one.

My thoughts:

vs.Texas A&M W
vs.East Carolina W
vs.Georgia W
@Vandy W
vs.Missouri W
@Kentucky W
Furman W
@Auburn L
Tennessee W
@Florida L
vs.South Alabama W
@Clemson t/u

6-2 overall, likely at home in December again.

It seems to be nearly unanimous hivethought that USC will lose to Auburn.

Is this because everyone thinks Auburn is *that* much better than USC, or because USC has never beaten Auburn? Or a combo of both?

Not a flame, just curious.

I was going to say two losses but that schedule lays out quite well for them. Georgia will be the loss. And Clemson.

And their annual legshitter. Can't forget that one.

Maybe Missouri will be their legshitter.

I think it's this. 99% of our losses to AU since joining the SEC have been expected, AU was expected to be a better team. We had 1 chance to play them when we were expected to win, at home in 2011, and we fricked it up. We lost all faith in anyone thinking we'll beat AU until we actually do it.

With that said this year is @AU and they're the defending national champs, so I can see why people would predict a loss there for us.

I expect the teams to be pretty even, but the game is at Auburn. Looking at SC's schedule (Furman before and Tenn after), however, a win is certainly possible. SC should be fresh and healthy for the game and probably won't be looking ahead to the game with the VOLS unless Tennessee surprises us all with a great season.

Don't forget the Garcia derp-fest in 2010.

1. They're better.
2. @ Auburn.
3. They've had your number lately.

As long as Spurrier is at Carolina, they will not lose to Clemson. He has their number. I see losses at Auburn and possibly the season opener against A&M. For some reason, the Gamecocks always start slow.

To an extent, but we still haven't lost an opener under Spurrier, and that has typically been against decent out-of-conference opposition.
