LB's are the key to slowing down A&M. And yours aren't even in the same league as ours.

If you guys hold Ags to under 450 in total yards I will be thoroughly impressed with the Ole Miss D. If you hold us to under 450 yards, then I would expect you guys to win by 2 TDs. That's the bottom line.

What was alabama averaging in total offense before they played us? Wasn't it better than A&M?

Over/under listed first. Current avg is in ( ).

1. Rushing: 130 (188)
2. Passing: 290 (395.2)
3. Total: 375 (445)
4. Points: 24 (47.8)

OM D averages thus far:
Total yds/g: 278
Passing yds/g: 152.4
Rushing yds/g: 125.2
Pts/g: 10.2

Honestly?

1. Under
2. Over
3. Over
4. Over

This is not a knock on Ole Miss' defense; rather, that they are coming down from a pretty big high from last weekend, and if memory serves they're pretty dinged up (honestly having a hard time finding info on OM injuries)

The flip side of that is that Ole Miss' offense will likely be a good bit more effective against A&M's D. How much more remains to be seen.

Losing Trae Elston for a half will hurt as well.

Keep in mind, Alabama nearly hit 400 yards as well despite all its errors. That doesn't mean OM loses the game, obviously, but they'll probably give up a decent bit of yardage.

No, but close. I think there was about 10 yards per game difference.

Lucky?! Screw you. We're just a better team than Alabama.

I really do think the key to us slowing them down was our LB roster. However, OM has one thing going against them. A&M dropped a ton of balls last week. Coaches jump all over teams for those mistakes. This means A&M will probably catch anything within 10 yards of hands this week.

Don't be surprised if A&M looks like a different team Saturday. But then again, maybe they don't.

Yeah they dropped a lot of balls against yall, but don't forget your secondary is your team's glaring weakness. They won't have near the opportunities to drop passes against us.

The key to our defensive gameplan is simple: pressure, pressure, pressure.

Forcing Hill to move around a little and taking away his first read is crucial to stopping the Aggie offense, which is terribly dangerous.

Not sure - I thought I saw a couple of OM players carted off last weekend, but obviously my recollection is off.

Didn't happen. Morris hurt his ankle a bit, but we are surprisingly really healthy as a whole right now.
