Nah, you can't wait for a guy to fully prove himself in 2016. Someone else will grab him while you wait. You have to jump on the risky bet and mitigate the risk via contract if you want to succeed.
Just all the shite Herman does with recruiting has sold me.

7-5 with losses to Tennessee, LSU, Ole Miss and Bama. Will lose one more between UCLA, Arkansas and Auburn.

this is pretty much it, add in questions on the OLine.
if both are average i could see 8-4 or 9-3 (which honestly isn't good enough in my opinion for year 5 of a coach), but if either or both the Oline and QB are poor i could easily see a 6-6 or 5-7 type year as new coach rumblings start to happen, the team could just quit.
