I know. That's why I said we need to rethink our victory humiliation tactics for this one. Defeats the purpose if you WANT to be teabagged.

Maybe he switched to Texas.
He could have the time of his life in the grove if the black bears pull it off this weekend.

I wouldnt be suprised if they put a guard on the tree and the MSC building. I promise you if anyone was caught doing anything to either it wouldnt be a pretty sight.
That being said, dont walk on the grass at the MSC building and remove your hats while inside of the MSC and I can promise you it will be a good time.
College station is the epitome of Southern Hospitality.

The grass is also elevated now so you have to really go out of your way to step on it. If you get a kick out of disrespecting soldiers that died for your freedom though go ahead. The folks at Westboro Baptist will think you are awesome.

This isn't even a football thing. I'd expect and hope you beat the arse of any gumps that disrespect this.

Its happened plently of times. I remember one year they had a T-Sip in the back of an ambulance after he peed on the grass. He was speared mid act dragged to the sidewalk and dealt with accordingly.
Most of the time people have respect for what it represents, but there are always those drunk, peer pressured retards that have to go and mess everything up.

Arlington is a memorial. West Point is a military school.
What you have is just fescue.

I hate that piece of trash...

It's been my experience that no one who understands the purpose of the traditions violate them, it is always someone who thinks it is just some stupid "Aggy" thing. I also hope that any Ags that see someone doing either will assume it is not intentional, esp the hat in the MSC thing. The grass is really hard to do on accident since they rebuilt the MSC and elevated it.

You've made your opinion(s) about TAMU very well known, Rebelgator.
Whether or not you (dis)agree with this particular tradition and/or the existence of the Corps of Cadets, staying off the grass surrounding the MSC is indeed a tradition at TAMU.
A poster asked about it.
The question was answered.

It's gonna happen..and 99% of the time it's due to ignorance. Hopefully, those who do step on the grass are not ripped a new one right away. Making our visitor's welcome and informing them of one of our more sacred traditions is a balancing act sometimes.
....and sometimes you just have to kick 'em in the nuts.
