Only been done 15 times total and 6 times in the SEC:

2011 Russel Wilson 191
2011 RG3 189
2013 Jamemis Winston 184
2010 Cam Newton 182
2014 Marcus Mariota 181
2008 Sam Bradford 180
2012 McCarron 175
2012 Aaron Murray 174

2013 Bryce Petty 174
2008 Colt McCoy 173
2013 Johnny Football 172
2008 Tim Tebow 172
2013 Zach Mettenberger 171

2013 Teddy Bridgewater 171
2010 Andrew Luck 170

I think Jeremy Johnson is the only QB capable of pulling this off this year.

I think Jeremy Johnson has less than 100 career throws. Let's pump the brakes.

He didn't say he would win the Heisman and be a first round pick.

Cam Newton only had 12 career throws in division 1 before starting in 2010.

Checkmate.

Nope. They are in fact the old and outdated passer efficiency ratings. QBR is 0-100 I believe.

When you make next year's list of 2008-2015, Mett won't be the only LSU quarterback on the list as I expect both Jennings and Harris to be on there

So why are we using old and outdated ratings then? All I know is those are not the modern passer ratings in the OP. Unless college has a complete different formula to make the players look better to the uniformed viewer maybe? Because Aaron Rodgers has the NFL record for career rating at 106 right?

Because these are the official passer efficiency ratings that have always been used. QBR is only used by ESPN.

dude, open your eyes. JJ is a beast and no amount of brake pumping is going to stop him from being a top QB in the country

Don't college and NFL have different scales for QB ratings?

No frick QBR. It is so damn stupid don't get me started. My point is there is no way this is the same as the passer rating used for the NFL. Maybe college is done differently.

Yes, they do calculate them differently. I am so glad we found the source of his confusion.
