Not a school broadcast, but Keith Jackson's commentary on the strip by George Teague on Lamar Thomas in the 1992 National Championship game still gives me chills...

Paul Kennedy's call of Van Kiffin's kick vs Auburn is pretty good as is his passionate plea on the preceding play imploring Greg Richardson to head to the sidelines.

Yep... that's a great one, too. I hate that I wasn't alive to see it when it happened. My dad was there and talks about it frequently.

Hard to pick one but

Larry Munson on the Hobnail Boot call comes to mind.

Well... yeah. That might be my favorite part He ran down the "fastest player in college football" from behind and stripped the ball away from him to save a touchdown. As much football as Keith Jackson had seen, I doubt he'd seen something like that many times before.

This is the only call I have ever cried while listening to it.

I was a huge braves fan and I was only 9 at the time and the way i got the games was listening to them on a very bad radio connection. I couldn't even watch the games as I didn't have cable so I listened to almost every game that season on the radio and the Sid Bream slide had me crying like a bitch. I was so happy.

Two of my favorite all time calls from the same game. Jim Fyfe during the 1993 Iron Bowl

That Nix to Sanders call is one of my favorites too. Just absolute vintage Fyfe.

Neither is my school. Since today has been all about A&M, I might as well keep it going.

This one is from Dave South. He's a huge A&M homer. You can hear his depression through the dead air.

This one is Craig Way. He calls games for them dern tsips from tu. Just another hippie fig from Austin.
