Nope, after beating Auburn they proved they could win vs the SEC

The offense and ST did, not the defense.

TAMU shouldn't be in the top 20

USC should be in the top 20

Florida State, Oklahoma, Ohio State, Georgia, and UCLA will all be out of the Top 10 by Week 5.

FSU will be undefeated again. Nobody on that schedule would be favored and none would come close to 3 points. I'd be shocked if anybody beats them prior to the NCG.

Oklahoma goes on the road 3 out of the first 5, but the only major opponents are WVU (QB, WR, RB, and defensive problems), and TCU. TCU could give them a challenge, but you're kinda reaching.

Ohio State's strongest opponent in those five weeks is a VT team who has no offensive firepower.

UGA could lose against USCe but all the others are at home, and they have major problems.

UCLA actually could lose considering they play a high powered ASU offense on the road right after they play Texas on the road.

I have a bad feeling about Stanford in that they reload. I thought losing Gardner, Skov, Mauro, Murphy and the two safeties would be a lot to overcome as well as the OL. However, the DL will have Anderson, Parry and Shittu played his pants off in the spring. The linebackers will have Leuders, Kevin Anderson, Tarpley and Noors. Corner is stocked for them and they've recruited well at DB. The starting 11 will be salty and the question is depth. There is a lot of inexperience in the twos but chalked full of elite talent.

They lost Derek Mason to Vanderbilt. We don't know how that will affect them.

There's a 4-team playoff this season.

I know we have to be fair but LSU would skull drag 4 of the teams from 5-10. Let's be honest. Outside Okie should be top ten SEC even though it's suppose to be down year. Also UGA to high!!!

I honestly don't know enough about teams outside of the conference and who they lose after this last season to make an informed decision on a whole top 25.

I will say that Bama and Auburn should be top 5.
South Carolina should be top 10.
Georgia and LSU should be top 15/20.
Missouri and Ole Miss should be top 25.

If their schedule isn't too tough, Mississippi State should make it into the top 25.

I honestly have no clue about A&M and how losing Johnny and other first round talent should affect them. For now my guess is they shouldn't be ranked.

You don't know anything about clemson's depth chart and starters do you????

That teams the acc's version of georgia. Lost there starting rb,#1 and #2 qb, #1 and #2 reciever and you got em in the top 10

Yeah, Clemson fans are really worried about their offense. Although, they are really high on their dline.

I think people are sleeping on Arizona. I think they finish in the top 25.

Oh there d line and linebackers are whats going to stop them from getting blown out and keep them in games except when they play florida state and us then there's only so many stops your defense can make per game.

However, it is the acc they probably will still get 8-10 wins just because of the quality of football over there.

Wait A&M lost everyone including the GOAT and finished the year 18th. Now we're 16th.

8 teams from the SEC...that's why the SEC only needs 8 Conference games plus the SEC Championship Game.

Spring game is today, but Dantonio and Narduzzi were less than thrilled with the D. The offense should actually be solid, though.

Missouri and A&M too high

Missouri could very well earn their way up, and I expect them to with a softer schedule. We have lost a lot though and shouldn't be assumed to be there. Prior to DGB going maybe I would have been okay with the higher ranking.

Going to be hard for Bama to be in top ten with three losses. AU will win the west.

UF & USC will compete for the east...edge to UF with USC coming to the Swamp. UGA will lose 4 games, Mizzou lost too much on defense but will compete and will serve up an L to some team visiting them. UT is a year away with both Oline and Dlines gutted.

Miss St and AU may be the best two teams in the west if MSU has enough defense. Ole Miss will surprise some team. LSU is a year away.
