We have been, are now, and will always be Bama's little brother. Not just on the gridiron, but in general.

We should forget trying to one-up UA in random, mostly meaningless ways and concentrate our resources on being the best we are capable of being.

Also, the new jumbotron at J-H was a colossal waste of money. Seeing it person made me think of this.

Interesting. I have a niece there that has said the same thing. She loves football because she grew up in Tuscaloosa. Says the majority of students despise it at Vandy.

Kentucky needs to gut the basketball program if that's what it takes to be successful in football. The majority of our fans are too stupid to agree to trade the basketball success we've had for equivalent historical football relevancy. We've been complacent ever since the Bear left. The reason we're the craziest basketball fan base and only rivaled by Alabama football fanaticism as far as sheer lunacy/idiocy in collegiate sport is because basketball passion has become an outlet for our repressed anger at the unbelievably inept mismanagement of our football program. We actlike we're too good to hire questionable coaches to get the job done on the gridiron, and then complain when we only win 4 damn games. To win in the SEC means getting your hands dirty and most of our fanbase acts like we're above it.

The thing our fanbase does where we walk by another fan and give the spurs symbol with our hands is gay as hell.

There isn't one, other than the fans haven't demanded it with our wallets until Joker. Brooks showed us the light. No reason we can't win 7-8 every year and build from that. Weat Virginia and Tennessee do fine and thejr high school football is just as meh as ours. Cincinnati is in our backyard. The whole state of Ohio should be our farm system, shared with Ohio State. Stoops is finally doing that and its paying dividends. Going to take another year or two to get there. Mullen took some time to fix Croom's mess. Same here.
