For LSU....

Reports of the QB play of Jennings has been underwhelming.

QB recruit Brandon Harris has not immediately displayed the NFL Hall of Famer-type skill that the fan base expected.

WR/Passing game? Baaaaaadddd!
Everyone saw this coming for LSU, though...

Losing Zach Metternberger, O'dell Beckham and Jarvis Laundry was huge. That is one reason I was so surprised LSU "passed" on Dook Williams in favor of Speedy Noil, only to have him sign with Texas A&M.

Positives: Only 2 players and just 1 projected starter has been caught with MJ so far. Also looks like DGB is in the clear.

Positive: loaded talent wise on offense, yet admittedly raw at QB. Running game will be able to take up some slack until the QBs get their legs under them.

Negative: losing Golden hurts, and Mary Jane is too popular so she's caused her own issues. Defense will be suspect until it can acquit itself.

The thing is nick had 10 talented players around him... Driskell has terrible WRs, a shitty OL, and inconsistent running game.

Even if Driskell had those things, he still doesn't have half the confidence or poise of Marshall

Maybe not confidence , but Driskel has poise. Fricker will sit back in a pocket like a boss. Which is why he gets sacked so much. Way too much poise.

Positives-

Gurley and Malcome Mitchell are practicing at full speed.

Negatives-

4 guys getting arrested the night before the first day of practice, no word on their future, it's probably a bit of a distraction.

Update... Mitchell back on injury list, won't practice until summer.

Positives-
Gurley back to normal

Negatives-
4 Arrests, no public punishments we know of, distraction factor
Malcome Mitchell leg injury

No, word is hamstring pull, not sure, but it's not his knee that he tore the ACL on, supposedly.

There are plenty of LSU fans who knew Harris wouldn't step in and become the starter. The kid has all the tools though and once this kid has more time with Cameron I think he can be a very dangerous QB. AJ understands the O better at this point and will get the nod imo
