Just want to say I'm very exited about the Hogs this season and looking forward to a great year. Should be in contension for the SEC West with Bret at the helm. You gotta admit they do grow some good coaches up there. Saban, Brer, Urban. I still think the SEC is the toughest league though. Bama had no way to prepare for that game, even if they are on a downswing.

Anyway, I'd love to hear how some of you think your teams will do this year.

If the defense is as good as it could be. This could be as good a Auburn team as we've seen in a long time.

It'd be hard to pull that off in the SEC.

I see the SEC (especially the WEst) as a mine field. One wrong step and POW! Blown to hell.

I suppose it's possible but not likely. How about Auby?

Fair enough. Fair enough.

Glad to be back. Been a long time for sure.

This place is always been like that show about that bar for me with Norm and Sam and Cliff (don't remember the name)? Anyway they'd always find some of the dandest things to talk about. But everybody would holler "NORM!" when he'd come in from carrying the mail all day. Kind of like that here.

Just lots of good people.

I don't know how to describe it. Or why I feel the way I feel.

I REALLY THINK our recievers will be better. We had a pretty good recruit turncoat on us at the end. but I still believe.

I think Bret is a wizard. and a hell of a cook evidently. He's well rounded. most coaches usually have more than one ability. Some hobby they throw themselves into in the off season. Saban plays a French horn according to a buddy of mine that has heard him. Said they saw him in a little band at a festival of some sort. I don't know what Urban does but I'll bet a Florida fan on here will know.

back to the Hogs. I just got a feeling like on an episode of Matlock when you think he's beat and he comes up with a way to win. I think we saw Bret do that last year. I didn't think we had a chance agin Ole Miss and POW! LSu POW!

So I think he'll find a way and because of that big line he can play with lesser talent everywhere elst and still be in the game late in the 4th quarter.

You won't get Jack blasingame, or any Blasingame to bite that hook. I was no Nutt fan. but if he got you late in the game and could run on you, or got you into overtime, he'd be hard to deal with. I think Bret is just as good. probably better because of balance.

No. It wasn't that one it was a bar in Boston. That was the setting. It was Malone's or McGivneys or something like that.

It's good to be out.

Take it from me. Dating a hellcat will take years off your life. Just the stress.

I dated a gal...she was a widow...I think she killed her old man. i didn't when we started dating or I wouldn't have never started. Anyhow, there would be nights I'd wake up and her staring at me. Not smiling like "you're cute when you snore Jack" just staring. I'd roll over and pretend I didn't care but it would bring me right to. Then I'd be up for hours. She was always on the warpath about me taking care of me and then not going the extra mile. We'll i was always taught "leave em wanting more." so i would. Did. and finally left over that.

All I need is to have some crazy hellcat cut off my Gut-wrench like that bobbitt did. Her name was Wren.

She'd scream out in the middle of the night "EEEEEEEOOOOWWWWW!!!!" I'd wake up and shed be standing there on the bed looking down at me. I'd ask "what in the hell are you doing!? You are gonna wake up the poeple down stairs and the couple thru the wall and they have a baby, Wren!" "EEEEEOOOOOOOOWWWWWW!" "alright, alright dammit. I'm going home!" "EEEEEOOOWWWWW!" and so on and so forth till i left.

I went and got my stuff one day when she was working at Western Sizzlin and left. Never went back.

I had to take anxiety medicine after I dated her for about several months. Well I still take it from time to time when I can get my hands on it.
