How does this point system work?

Lsu is second to USC at wide receiver yet:

LSU/USC
1st RD: 4/2
2-4th RD: 7/7
5-7th RD: 3/3

Total: 14/12

Edit: I noticed all Americans are apparently worth more than 1st rd draft pics lol. And all conference performers worth more than all pics outside of the first round.

By this logic some sunbelt team that has 3 all conference receivers this century, none sniffing the NFL, would have a higher point total than and sec team with 5 drafted recievers between round 2-7 lol.

And by the way Arkansas,

LSU has twice as many running backs taken in the draft over this span. 12 to your 6. We were awarded 56 points for all 12. 8 less points than Darren McFaddens 64 points by himself. Scoring system is dumb. All of these articles from different companies just skew numbers different ways. LSU is #1 on CFNs at RB.

All 12 of your RBs < DMac

So that makes sense to me.

Each of the 12 running backs individually < dmac

Having one player worth more than 12 draft picks, double the output of your entire program makes no sense to me. This is position U rankings right, Not Best RB of the 2000s rankings? As in how many quality athletes are consistently produced per school? Seems like we have twice as many NFL caliber RBs in this time frame.

I'm not saying his individual accomplishments shouldn't be factored in, or LSU should even be ahead of Arkansas. But the fact that him alone out scores LSUs program makes this rankings stupid
