Not a chance. Thompson is embarrassingly bad I dont know why you all think hes good to be completely honest and unbiased.
I love using 1 game to judge a player.
That'd be like me saying DGB is a below average WR with that logic. He's only had 2 catches for 15 yards against us in his career. Dude must be a bust.

Who's DGB? Other notables that haven't done shite against us for at least one game:

Tajh Boyd
Sammy Watkins
Todd Gurley
Aaron Murray
The entire 2012 Missouri team

Nice list.

I'm really going to miss Tajh Boyd.

He didn't have a stellar night against Mizzou but he wasn't "embarrassingly bad" as you said...

The first 2 offensive possessions were still-born, but the Mizzou defense was fired up and our OL had trouble sustaining a pocket, and Thompson rushed a few throws...

The 3rd possession he drove the O 54 yds and when the drive stalled Fry missed a makeable 40-yd FG...

The next drive he drove the O 45 yds in 7 plays but on 3rd and 2 at the Mizzou 31 Davis fumbles the ball away...

The next drive he drives 71 yds in 7 plays to get to the Mizzou goal line, but Davis again fumbles the ball away on 1st and Goal on the 2-yd line...

Right there there's 10 potential points that USC would be in excellent position to score had they executed properly. None of it was Thompson's fault. He did throw a bad pass that was intercepted, but Mizzou didn't score a point off of it, so it didn't hurt USC...

As has been said above, USC and Thompson in particular plays strong at home, and next season Missouri won't be the same Missouri of this season losing their top QB, top RB, one of their top WR, plus several others from the O and D units.

Only IMO Auburn and Florida concerns me for next season. We haven't played AU well for like ever, and it will be at their place plus I'm sure they will be on a big momentum high next season over their BCSCG run of 2013. UF will be dealing with struggles of their own but it will be in the Swamp which is always a tough place to play.

Vandy at Vandy won't be a big concern for me as they lost their top QB and Robinette has looked overwhelmed every time he's played, including the bowl game that Vandy won. They lose their WR and RB too, as well as other key players...

TAMU without Manziel, Evans, and that defense to start the season: no problem...

It wouldn't surprise me for us to be 7-0 entering our game with Auburn.....
