Vanderbilt by a mile. Can't even remember the last time Vandy spanked that Vol arse by double digits.

I think it's obvious why this was my favorite.

really not mad, we were shitty and have been past few yrs. thats part of it, im still here and still a fan. But i was being serious, that lsu loss was my fav of the season, i have so many lsu band wagon fans around me its crazy, ive developed a strong hate because of that.
oh and dont jump in laughing... i go to the sugar bowl every year and was there for that embarrasment.. first of all you guys fans didnt even show up for the game because they were pouting, then your football team didnt show up and let a big east team dominate you guys. Your fans should be proud you made such a good bowl and support team, and your coach should keep your players motivated for such a big game

After the NCSU opener, they really all thought it was 98 all over again...at least until the fourth quarter.

As in previous years, the were all sweet. The Mizzou loss was the most fun to watch. Mississippi State didn't have a lot of entertainment value but was a pleasurable reminder of the Vols' established relationship with mediocrity.
Numero uno ? Got to be Vandy. VolFan's thinly-veiled angst and even acceptance over what was coming in the week before that game, was a thing of beauty.

The Georgia loss too because of BVD's reaction. "A FEW BIG PLAYS?!"

Yup. Completely understand, but we had essentially the exact same defense as the year before (minus Malik).
Dooley had a bowl game to play for and he knew if he made a bowl he was staying, so he lost on purpose. I honestly believe that. He tried to bail after UK in 11 (plenty of sources back this up). He just wanted the $.
If all he wanted was the money, then he did a great job in hiring Sal Sunseri. I know Tennessee returned practically everyone, but terrible coaching and a scheme swap screwed up what could have been the return of Tennessee to SEC relevance.

It wasn't an arse whipping on the scoreboard, but Clemson gave LSU at least 14 easy points. LSU made Clemson earn theirs. It's hard to give LSU an arse whipping on the scoreboard because their Special Teams and Defense can keep the game close even when the offense has a bad day.
