Would y'all rather

a) YOUR team have a season like Auburn's, possibly winning everything with someone who cheats, and having the national media and public opinion clearly against you, all with the chance of having it taken away,

or

b) would you keep the team and the record your team has this year

Things like recruiting class, returning talent, etc... all apply if hope for next year factors into your decision... if that makes sense.

If enough people respond, I'll post results on the first page.

5-A
21-B
4 N/A

As of page 8

If it were a better chance of not getting caught than getting caught I'd go with this. Ole Miss already has the public opinion of most SEC fans against them anyway, so it wouldn't be any different

I'd take this years team and consider us a success.

Chances are, you'll get caught, either with what you did or you've pissed off the NCAA enough by loopholing so they will find some reason to punish you down the line.

I'd pick B as well... This year's season wasn't fun, but I'd rather lose 3 games with the prospect of coming back next year pretty strong, and having won a MNC last year than have a season like Auburn's this year.

Oh hush... This hasn't been asked yet... and I'm curious about whether people are actually jealous of Auburn, or just pissed at them.

I'm not really jealous, but I am pissed.

What piece of evidence has bammers so confident that the NCAA will find that Auburn paid Cecil? Bluetuna's tripping on acid theory?

Maybe that should be a poll too. In answer to your questions, I would say:

1. B. We may not be going to the big game this year, but I'm still proud of my team, and I'm not worried about giving our wins back.

2. Pissed

ETA: I'm not really pissed either, I just think it will be really funny when they lose it.

Have you ever stopped to think there may be more to this than just Cam and Cecil? The NCAA is still investigating. That's not good.

The NCAA said he violated rules... and not all of us get our information from message boards. Some of us know important people IRL.

This isn't about where people get information though. This is about whether, given what you know, and the national perception, you'd want Auburn's season for your program.

I would take our honest season 100 times over before settling for what the cheaters have

It does! I'll admit it. Still rather be a loser than deal with this Cam shite. And you haven't answered the question.

b.

1. we are setup for future success just because of our location

2. we have already won legit titles in the past so i don't want us selling our soul for another quite yet.

And those people got their information probably from Tuna's thread.
I can't tell you how many little bammers have spouted off Tuna's story on FB and such because their daddy read it and they overheard him talking about it.

One of my really good AU friends forked out a ton of cash for tickets last night. He told me he doesn't want to wait another 60+ years for the chance to see this.

What about those of us who heard about stuff before Tuna's thread? Are you saying the NCAA said he cheated because of what Emmert read on TD??

What about those of us who are connected to people who are actually working on the case?

Again, this isn't really a thread for discussing the legitimacy Blue Tuna's thread, dear.
