LSU vs aTm. Nice to see a team from Louisiana beat up on a team from the big bad state of Tejas.

tamu might have the edge though, because they claimed two mythical national titles from the 1930's in the past couple of years. So there's that.

My bad. I should have researched tamu's pre-WWII mythical national titles a little better before posting.

Arkansas and TAMU have a weird thing in common.
Think of it as like Auburn vs Tennessee. Their strongest connection is via a common hated rival. Both Arkansas and TAMU hated Texas a lot more than they cared about each other historically.
LSU vs TAMU creates a conundrum as far as who to root for. I dislike both teams. That's how I feel about it.
I probably dislike Ole Miss more than either, though.

1. Conference Rivals so games meant something in past
2. One SEC school actively went to reschedule the team they stopped playing in football
3. Neutral sight game in football to get more exposure
4. Two schools have played against each other in championship games and caused each other to lose championships.

If you watch Shameless, A&M is Ian Gallagher and LSU is Mickey Milkovich. Ian's the military grunt with the chemical imbalance and Mickey's the white trash redneck who runs a brothel. They're gay lovers, but Mickey's still in the closet, like LSU.

I'm at peace with this.
LSU so unconcerned about the Hogs in football that they don't really care if they score on us or not kinda seems to work in our favor.
How do we get bama to think like that?
