Then if there is a conference Championship game without division then the true top 2 teams will play.

Your best wins are against 2 teams that lost 4 games. You have 0 wins against teams in the Top 15 while UT us 2-1 against top 15 teams.
All of which doesn't mean shite, because giving up the most points you've ever given up in school history...and to a 4 loss team...takes you completely out of discussion. Head to head, strength of schedule, etc doesn't matter when your team isn't even in the discussion. Your team was so shitty that they played themselves completely out of the conversation with Bama. That's why your last second win over Bama doesn't mean shite...because 63 points to USCe takes you completely out of the conversation. You don't get to be compared to Bama because your team was absolute dog shite against a 4 loss team.
Being absolute dogshit completely removes you from any comparison to a team that was never dog shite.
Why is that so difficult for you fricktards to get through your little brains???

You're just not smart enough and I can't go back in time and make your mom not drink when she was pregnant with you

It is not Bama and UGA if they went off SEC standings. UT and Bama have same exact conference record. So there for tie would go to UT since they won the head to head match up on the field. If you rank the SEC overall standings Bama is #4. They have same record as LSU but lost to LSU also.

Somehow I suspect like others they’re going to go with the 2 highest ranked teams.
Which isn’t you.

Alabama is the better team.

I always like this argument. Hey here’s an idea, as crazy as it may sound, why not actually play a game between the two teams on an actual football field to determine who is better?
Oh wait, they already did that.

When two teams have the same record, head-to-head has to be the determining factor. Otherwise why bother to play the games.
ETA: wasn’t it interesting that they made sure to put FSU one spot ahead of LSU. Why? Because they have the same record and FSU beat LSU.
Rules don’t apply to Alabama. Never have. Might be why there’s so much animosity towards them.

Every game counts. Not just head to head. A last second loss just ain’t the same as a blowout loss.

I would start there if I was you.

In the NFL teams are placed in divisions within conferences. There is a playoff structure that has rules based on win/loss records, division winners, head to head, etc. Those rules then dictate seeding and those teams then play in a single elimination tournament to determine a champion. Every team and fan knows the rules on getting into the playoff and how the seeding will occur before the season even starts.
This is really not a comparison of apples and apples. The NFL teams all compete with the same rules. There are salary caps, and they play a schedule that is put together in a balanced manner (or as well as can be done), NONE of this applies to the CFB.

Irrelevant to the discussion of the playoff rankings.

I dont think we will have the SEC championship game once we go to a 12 team playoff. Why would we? If LSU was ranked 12 right now, they would have no reason to play this game and lose and get knocked out of the playoff, or lets say UGA had lost a game and was ranked 4th right now. If they were to lose then they lose the bye. I think those games will go away.

If by irrelevant, you mean the essence, then yes, it is.
LSU is going to the SECCG because they have the same record as Alabama, and beat them head-to-head.
Yet, Tennessee is ranked behind Alabama despite identical records and winning the head-to-head.
But you already knew that.

Qualifying for seccg =/= being chosen for playoff
One considers a 55 point loss to the be the exact same as a last second Hail Mary loss.
They are in the most simplified analysis, but it’s okay to use your brain to understand the obvious differences.
