Why is Mizzou and A&M playing in 2014? Where's the rotating schedule?

I would assume your AD lobbied for more games vs TAMU to maintain some semblance of a presence in Texas for recruiting purposes.

Because Mizzou wanted one more year with a game in Texas thinking it will help their recruiting.

The recruiting in Texas is not the reason. Maybe because the "Brains" of the operation isn't very creative. For example Alabama's rotation at Mizzou at Kentucky and Florida at home early in the season just in case they get upset in September they can still make the playoff. These conferences regardless of the name always cater to 2-4 teams they rest are just not that important.

I assume your concern is becoming more "familiar" with and to other SEC members by getting to play them more frequently, rather than playing the same old A&M.

Get used to it. That's the reality of a 14-member league.

2013 is the 22nd season for Arkansas and South Carolina in the SEC. Arkansas and Vanderbilt have met 6 times as conference foes.

I wish we still played Tennessee. We used to play them every season. We will be lucky to play them twice per decade. It sucks, but that's the game for everybody now.
