It is so fun to strike fear into the eyes of the enemy. I was yelling (as Ole Piss got off the bus to head into the stadium) and me and a huge lineman for the rebs made eye to eye contact and we stared at each other and than he looked away. I struck fear in him as he knew it was only just the beginning of hell.

I stopped reading the OP way before this so thanks for bringing it to our attention

Ahhh, yes. Sorta reminds me of Tuscaloosa in '11 when we walked past some sort of tailgating/cage with 2 grown men wearing bama garb pulling a hot dog around on a string and waiting with their toothless grin for our reaction. So sad....

You don't even know the nickname of your stadium.

Tooth joke #2. It seems as though your humor got left behind in the 2nd grade.

Alabama has played in Death Valley over 30 times. Let me know when you get to 10 wins against Alabama in Death Valley.

Death Valley is one of the hardest road games in college football*

*Offer not valid for University of Alabama

In the last 15 years or so, there's only been a handful of non-competitive regular season games between LSU and bama:

1997 LSU 27 bama 0
2001 LSU 35 bama 21 (Over 500 yards passing)
2002 bama 31 LSU 0
2003 LSU 27 bama 3
2013 bama 38 LSU 17 (and even that one was 17-17 in the 4th quarter and with the benefit of a phantom PI call.)

Only one of those was in BR - 2002.

There appears to be a game missing from this list that certainly fits the criteria.

Is it true Alabama has only lost there 4 times in the last 44 years?

Yep. Just as true as the fact that Alabama has lost there 4 times in its last 7 trips and 3 times in its last 5, with one win being in OT (over a 8-5 LSU team) and the other being in the final minute. I doubt any of those recent games will have an effect on this year's game, though, and I'm certain that none of the games from the 1970s, 80s, etc. will.

Correct, however, the totality of the data shows, conclusively, that Tiger Stadium just isn't that intimidating a place to play

I realize you are probably pre-teen... But I still read this garbage in its entirety and congrats to you. You did not refer to the Tigers as "tigs".

Thank you for that

For a couch-quarterback, sure. But I'm willing to bet there are a lot of guys who, you know, actually played college football that would disagree with you.

I don't think you realize that LSU was not a powerhouse prior to this century. We had some good teams but were an underdog for the most part.

I did not expect LSU fans to look at the actual data and say "you know what? You're right. I guess its a myth we sort of created"

Obviously Tiger Stadium hasn't had that much of an effect on Alabama in this game either if you check the record.
