Wouldn’t this piss you off as a player? I understand they’re making a “business decision”, but don’t hang out on the sideline while we get our arse kicked because of your business decision.

Ya I don’t get it either. Plus they get to do all the bowl activities, games and vacation stuff? That just doesn’t make sense.

I can't believe they can't come up with some sort of insurance waiver that protects the players.

The opt outs (that aren't known until gametime) have to be (or will soon be) killing Vegas and aren't doing anything toward adding fannies in the seats and eyeballs to the broadcasts.
