And.....

That means you can stay close to Marta and the Dome.. So the point of staying close to Marta instead is irrelevant

LSU has been to the SEC championship game 5 times. Arkansas has been there 3 times.

That is a mighty successful and dominant LSU program. They're the best ever just ask them (when a bama fan isn't in the room).

If you are taking your kids any of the marquee hotels in downtown Atlanta will work. If you were looking for any after game night life stay in Buckhead and take MARTA to the dome

Yes but downtown sucks. Midtown or Buckhead are better places to stay imo.

I stayed at the Ritz and partied with Archie Manning, Stephen Garcia's parents, and fat Phil Fulmer in 2010.... Garcia's dad is a megadouche.

The issue people have with downtown Atlanta is because it is a CBD and the sidewalks roll up at night and becomes alot less safe after dark, the safety issue will apply much less to the equation for the weekend of the SEC title game

Yea stay downtown, I'm from Atlanta and typically avoid downtown but I stayed at a hotel for the Sec game just to be close and it is not bad at all.

There is plenty to do and eat and the crowd is all CFB fans.

Looking to reserve a room in Atlanta for the SEC Championship game

Are you gonna be pulling for Bama or the East representative?

Exactly it is only this particular weekend I would not stay in Buckhead particulary if I had kids wanting the game day vibe

Maybe you should have stayed broken. Then, we'd likely both be happy.

Just a thought.

No one started jack shite. Dude was asking about places to stay in Atlanta, then we get some "don't waste your money" crap from a fan of a team that constantly gets their arse handed to them by LSU/Bama but manages to be the biggest shite talkers all offseason long.

Arky fans=Offseason shite talking champs.

Then, unfortunately, September and November happen.

Nah. We fair-minded fans who can do without the constant one-liner flame attempts and actually like to talk football enjoy each other's company on here.
