People don't believe me when I tell them I could have gone to a top school and chose LSU based on scholarships. Best decision I ever made, good for her.

Depends on goals of course.

If she wants to do high level research at an R1 institution one day, Yale would have been a much smarter choice despite loans.

If she wants to just get a job she enjoys and have a family, going to Auburn for free can certainly set her up for that.

Although Auburn did put someone at Harvard Law School a few years ago.
