Are they the Fightin' Whiteys or the Holy Honkies? I always get those confused.

What he should have done is lead by example, meet with his team, and explain to them that a man on a hunger strike does not have his life on the line. He chose to stop eating and make demands that people lose their job instead of discussing the situation. He can choose to start eating and address his concerns the proper way and he can deal with the choices he makes. The striker's well being is his own personal responsibly, not theirs. Instead, he tucked his nutz betweeen his legs, clucked like a chicken and became part of the problem instead of part of the solution. I hope it costs him his job, he has no backbone and showed a lack of leadership. His reputation is shot, stick a fork in him cause he's done.

In all fairness, we have know idea if this is true. Would I send my kid there next year if he was offered a scholarship to Mizzou as well as other P-5 schools? Probably not. But we have no idea how it will play out.

Do people even watch college football?? You do know BYU have a lot of black players. Amazes me how people assume BYU is nothing but white boys. The school might be white but the blacks make up key parts of the football team.

Well he stood with his players instead of finding out the actual facts and educating them as the leader of the football team. Now the team looks like a bunch of ignorant fascist racist antisemetic buffoons along with the radical leftist students protesters and faculty. It's almost to unbelievable to believe that they are this stupid but not surprising with what they are teaching and what they are being taught today in many universities if not almost all. The PC culture at its finest for all to see.

Also, who would want the Missouri job now? Black is the only qualification now.

Sure, playing that game we don't know if the sun will rise tomorrow either.

Common sense tells you this program is dead though, doesn't matter how much of a family this university is, if the campus is being portrayed as bad for blacks parents and students won't go there. On top they couldn't recruit for shite even before this.

Pinkel's stance has played very well with the AA's in his 2016 recruiting class - most expressing more conviction to Mizzou. Any coach who tries to negatively recruit AA's against Mizzou based on recent events could be stepping onto a very slippery slope.

What he should have done is told these students that if they were going to boycott then boycott something that benefits them. Tell the hunger strike guy good luck but we are going to get paid.

Boycott for a stipend. Just enough to have some spending money.

Most of the players on every team are from poor inner city families and poor country families. They do not have any money to give them to go to the movies or have a little fun.

What if the football players at Missouri boycotted for a stipend and the power houses around the country that were not in the championship hunt would have joined in? Texas, Michigan, USC, Georgia, FSU, TAMU, Penn St., Oregon, etc. would have joined in. Would have made the NCAA listen.

No they got a President fired who had little if no power on some of the issues they were mad at. No they got the Chancellor to step down because he closed the Planned Parenthood office on campus when all the videos started showing up.

But these are young 20 yr olds. Black, White, Red, Yellow not many smart decisions are made at those ages. But HCGP should have told them to be productive and do it this way.

Well, place is a dumpster fire. I've been supportive of Mizzou, have immediate family as grads, but looks like it will burn.
