The Aggies have already been told that and it didn't work out.

Do you think Spurrier wanted to get in a throwing match with the Aggies? Because you are forced to when your offense must score 50+ to win.

Because conversation with a poster who lies is pointless

South Carolina has thrown the ball more than they've passed this season.

So, whenever you would like, you can stop making shite stats up.

We average damn near 50 right now, by shoving it down your throat.

I see this going a lot like Auburn did for Arkansas. They'll hang around and make it a game, but aTm will pull away late and win by a couple of scores. They'll hang around longer in this one than they did Auburn, though.

They have run the ball 17 more times than they have thrown it since the A&M game, where they got down by 24 and had a 2 to 1 pass/run ratio.

When they can stick to their gameplan, they run more than they throw.

I'm soaking up each second of the season--the longer the weeks are, the better.

Not sure how some people manage to get so worked up over an outcome that is, at this point, completely unknown.
No one has a clue what's going to happen.

They can't because we weren't the braggarts they're making us out to be. I can't say that I understand the strategy...you don't need to draw imaginary parallels between Arkansas gloating and alleged Carolina shite talking to make an argument that A&M will win their game. That's fricking stupid. Most neutral observers and much of the Rant will already pick A&M as it is.

There were only a few SC dolts, pregame.
Off the top of my head, carolinaswamperand Carolina Girl(?) come to mind.
For whatever reason, one or two outliers always seem to out-yell the sane majority.

USC fans talked reasonable levels of shite, given that everyone (including me) expected them to win and possibly win big. They were justified in believing they were better than us.

Arkansas fans just like to sail with no actual belief in most of what they say. They talked tons of shite last year while getting blown out every week.

I don't recall anyone claiming Davis was the best RB in the conference, just that their line combined with Davis might be the best combo of back and line.

pre game rant predictions of SCar/A&M game

Not all of these from SCar posters but the general consensus before the game from the rant haters:

quote:

Be afraid of Mike Davis and Brandon Wilds behind a big-dicked experienced offensive line.

quote:

Ball control. Running Mike Davis behind our mammoth oline against aTm's bad defense.

quote:

South Carolina is likely to just bulldoze A&M, control the clock, and put the pressure on A&M to trade TDs

quote:

They should have an advantage in the running game with Mike Davis against A&M front seven of mostly second rate Louisiana players LSU passed on

quote:

USCe oline is very good. They will run the ball at will and eat up the clock and pass off play action. A&M's defense is still crap until proven otherwise.

quote:

The keys to the game for SCAR are to control the clock

quote:

Run and run some more.

quote:

the A&M front 7 vs the USC O-line/Mike Davis. I believe this is one game where TOP will dictate the outcome. I know I've seen Aggies say this does not matter. In some games, it does not. However, watch USC against Clemson in some recent games. Spurrier puts a HUGE priority on controlling the clock

quote:

Run. Run. Run. Tote the rock. 6 yards and a cloud of dust.

quote:

We have a top tier line, a qb that is proven to be capable, a big strong receiver in Roland, a blazing fast receiver in Byrd and a Heisman caliber rb in Davis.

quote:

For aTm to win, they'll need to: -finally find a defense, -keep everyone out of jail b/w now an Thursday, -the OL has to give Hill enough time to make decisions, -load the box and stop MD28 -score with the same type of frequency as last year's team.

I've gotten tired of quoting but the point is SCar thought just like Arky they were going to run it on us and we all know how that turned out. We'll shut arky down unless they can effectively play action pass - even then we'll out score them.

with johnny football, mike evans and jake matthews, you beat the worst fricking hog team ever by 11 points lol. you could not stop the run game then, in dan skippers and denver kirklands very first ever start.

it's gonna get ugly. it's gonna get LSu / mSu beat down ugly. If you thought we "ran it down your throats" last year it's gonna get diabolical Saturday.

Judging from the games played so far this year, comparing the Arkansas rushing game to Scar's seems a little outlandish as we just do it way better than them. Brandon Allen also appears to much improved. His one slip up being in the Auburn game where the pic wasn't his fault.
