No, it's about 5 miles away in a little more upscale area, still working class though, called Pleasant Grove. Both places are about 10 miles outside of Birmingham. Pleasant Grove is a bedroom community of about 10,000. Mulga is just an old mining town, maybe 800-1000 people max.

And you know what, the irony of that is mind blowing and just about perfect.
I'm not one to believe that anything local or regional is somehow perfect or better than other places on Earth but, damn, this situation is really unique.
Envision it:
You have a bunch of absolute fricking losers on football message boards, bragging about their intelligence and educational levels, insulting someone for being stupid and less than.
As they do this, they aren't earning money, are sitting on their asses eating knock-off Doritos they probably stole, drinking cheap beer they also probably stole, and are critiquing a woman that has had a steady paycheck, courtesy of Finebaum, for going on a decade.
I'm happy for her.
