Well when you play Tennessee from the East as one of the two opponents from the EASt your schedule will take a huge hit.

Not as embarrassing as making the argument to keep a perennial SEC East doormat as a permanent cross division on your schedule for the sake of "tradition"

......or trying to get the NCAA to change the rules because your coach can't find a way to stop your instate and SEC West rivals fast paced offense.
