What I find funny is all the credence some fans give to the so-called "experts." Like they really know what's going to happen.

nah the guy is a retard. when you dont have the current number 1 team in your top 25 to start the year its likely you suck at picking games.
oh and he picked a team that is right at .500 to beat us by 10, that team hasn't beaten us in 10 years. the dude is a tard

no, the fact you take this clown's words as gospel is HILARIOUS especially when he was wrong about Oregon beating us, wrong about Moo U beating us, wrong about us "squeaking" by AU and now this HOT GARBAGE????? dude, we have only been blown out 3 times in miles' 7 years here. some do not even count the SECCG in 05 due to katrina and the team being burned out. yeah, you may win but not by blow out.

Anything's possible and 'Bama should be favored playing at home IMO. However, I see your point. He's getting out on the end of the proverbial limb with his prediction. Now, if LSU wins any kind of way, last second, fluke, whatever, his prediction will be open to ridicule. Of course, with P.S.'s money, he won't be bothered one bit.

Picking LSU to lose is the norm for the experts.
Picking them to lose by 18, scoring only 6 points is what draws attention.
I think Phil Steele knows college football pretty well. The rosters, the rivalries, etc. But, he sometimes takes a little long to see things clearly.
I remember just a few seasons ago when he ranked the PAC-10 conference as having 8 of the 10 toughest schedules in the nation. He has since adjusted his tune, and rides the SEC jock a bit, now.
