There are so many head scratchers on that list. I'll nominate one that hasn't been brought up yet- how does Auburn have two 2nd team corners? Did Phil watch their secondary get torched last year?

Even Bama has limits on what they will spend money for.

I agree...We had one of the better Secondary's in the SEC yet not one player listed for Arkansas.
That's cool...whatever Phil

Aaron Morris probably won't even start for Ole Miss this year? How bad must the guards be in this conference. Also, Markell Pack is the worst returner in the conference.
That said, he's spot-on about Evan Engram

I think the argument is there for Henry to be 1st team. The rest I agree with you.
i don't have a problem with henry being ranked high. he's a physical freak and poised for a huge breakout year if he can figure out how to run in the first half of football games.
the guy is the best 2nd half RB i've ever seen

Why do we not give Phil Steel shite/same treatment like we do Bleacher Report and other shite sites?

I don't blame him for not watching Vanderbilt games last year, but Scheu is not 4th team. Admittedly, I don't know a ton about the other 3, but Scheu had the most receptions, 2nd most receiving yards, and the most TDs by an SEC TE last year. Did anyone else see that offense? To lead statistically in anything, much less a passing game related stat is insane. Yes, I'm aware that he was one of the few bright spots in the offense, so he got more balls thrown his way. I think the amount of suck Dorrell instilled in the offense much outweighs any advantage he received by being our most reliable target.
I'm not saying he should be first team, but I definitely think he should be higher than that. OJ Howard had less than half the catches and yardage Scheu had. He should be at least ahead of Howard who was less than impressive last year.

I would be very surprised if LaDarrell McNeil starts the majority of Tennessee's games. Very bad player.
Cam Sutton right now projected as a 1st round pick.
Steele has them both 3rd team All SEC DB?

This is just my OP, but J Adams is LSU's best DB...
Mills is good, but weak in a few areas as is White. Adams is damn good for his age. Damn good.

He's largely clueless, and these lists are meaningless. Just off-season fodder.

Which makes it extra hilarious that he goes all the way to a 4th team.

Scheu had 39 receptions for 525 yards and 4 tds.
Engram had 38 catches for 662 yards and 2 tds.
Hunter Henry had 37 receptions for 513 yards and 2 tds.
O.J. Howard had 17 catches for 260 yards and 0 tds..
I guess it is pretty clear who should be at the bottom of this list. The other 3 could be in pretty much any order.

Howard is hella talented but his on field production is far below the other 3.
