So roughly half the Rant? Surprising for such a small city.

Having spent time in Fort Benning/Moore, I actually prefer Phenix City over Columbus, GA.

Cost of living is cheaper in Alabama compared to Georgia.

Born across the river in Columbus, Ga.
Worked in Phenix City for 30 years. Live about halfway between Phenix City and Auburn now.

I was driving my dad's sea ray down to destin from ATL in the 90's for spring break and the trailer got a flat in phenix city. Pulled into the first auto place I saw on 431 and they had me ready to go in under an hour. I like phenix city. It's a good movie too.

You wanna talk sketch, let's talk Dothan.

Did a 4 month interim job in Columbus. I was happy to get out of there.

Not the easiest place to teach. Relax and enjoy the golf.

OP, can you swing me some Dylan Gentry autographed AU swag?

I'll send some green to his NIL account.

OP won't be on that list. The Alabama city directly across the river from Columbus, Georgia is Phenix City, Alabama which shares it's name and spelling with a large mill in that existed in Columbus when the city was incorporated.
