MNy beef with garrett is not his talent he's extremely gifted. My beef with him is he is litearlly a one trick pony. To the point that he tries to get sacks every play and opens up running lanes by overpursing.

last year's game after the 2nd or 3rd drive we literally just started running directly at garrett and he did the same shite for the rest of the game. just run right at him, he's gonna run himself out of every play.


Derek Henry: 236 yards
Alex Collins: 151 yards
LF7: 159 yards



these are not stat lines that the "best defensive end in football" gives up


let's compare that with wise, who didn't even start last year:

Derek Henry: 95 yards
LF7: 91 yards


Sacks against alabama:

Garrett: 1.0
Wise: 1.0


sakes against lsu:

garrett: 1.0
wise: 2.5


total sacks against SECW opponents:

garrett: 4
wise: 6


wise is taller, bigger, has a better frame and plays the run infinitely better. not saying garrett isn't good but i'm not overly impressed with someone who shits the bed on big stages and pads stats against cupcakes like nevada
