You can see the real pain in the Bama fans who claim it was this year.
They can't even admit the truth about what kick six did to them.
Some have been honest and to those you can see they understand how therapy works. Congrats to you all

Monday night. Blowing a 14 pt lead in the NC game Hurts. The kick six didn't even hurt. It happened so quick that it was just shocking. I hated that the miraculous play happened against us but it was amazing to actually witness that wild arse play live. Congrats to both teams for your amazing wins. We will be back though. Good luck to everyone next season!
Edit: Forgot to mention that another reason that Monday night was worse is the fact that I have to start radiation and chemotherapy a week after the loss. Would have been much better to go through it as a fan of the national champs. But now I have to work on being a champion of life and beat this cancer. Hehe

I was in person at the Kick Six, CamBack, Ohio State loss and Monday night.
From a pure gut-wrenching emotional standpoint, the two Auburn losses were the worst, especially the Kick Six. Both the Clemson game and the Ohio State game I walked out feeling like we lost to an equal or better team that made plays. Both those Auburn games I felt like we dicked around and gave the games away. That's probably because of the rivalry tinting the way you look at things, but that's part of where the pain came from.
Losing Monday sucked because of the implications of it, but Clemson just made plays and beat us. I can honestly say by the next Monday driving home I was pretty close to over it. I didn't get past thinking about the Kick 6 on a daily basis for at least a couple of months. It was pretty awful. The CamBack sucked because we were in the weird role of preventing somebody else from getting something, but our season was already over. It was weird, and in hindsight even weirder, as we haven't had a single game like that since then in which we were the spoiler.
The funny thing is without the Kick Six we still almost undoubtedly lose the Iron Bowl because our kicker was mind fricked, but still, that's not the way your mind works.

Well, the kick six prevented Bama for playing for a third straight national title. It was a game/play that people said Bama wouldn't recover from and the dynasty was over. They were wrong.
The game Monday prevented Bama from winning a second straight national title. Some are saying it marks the end of the dynasty. I'd imagine those saying that will be about as accurate as those making same claim in 2013.
That said, in Monday you could see it unfolding. You could tell we were on way to overtime in a best case scenario or losing if they didn't make a stop. With the kick six, that type of play had only happened 3 previous times in 40+ years so it was much more stunning in the moment.

Monday night easily. You only get to play in the National Championship Game every other year or so it's gut-wrenching when you miss a close opportunity to win it. On the other hand get to play Auburn every year so a loss, while bad, just doesn't have quite the same impact.

In the bigger scheme of things, Monday night. We could have won it.
The kick six game? We were heading to OT. We had no answer for crackhead Tre Mason. Bowling ball was just running right through the defense.

I'd guess the kick six. So sudden, so shocking, and quite frankly, mind blowing because it was a rash decision made by Nick Saban.

Yes, really. Cam will always leave a sour taste in every bama fan's mouth and most only hope the worst for him. It's a beautiful thing to see.

Yep - you just knew we couldn't keep holding on for dear life defensively, especially once Clemson got up towards 70-80 plays early in the 4th quarter. The dam was going to break.
Honestly, I had emotionally conceded defeat once Clemson scored with 6 or 7 minutes left. Jalen's score was incredible, but there was clearly still a feeling of ehhh this is very much not over.
And, like I said, Clemson made all the plays. After the game last year, it just kind of felt like the same thing except the big play meter shifted over to Clemson, and it helped them win. Not really mad at all. Disappointed, obviously, but it was not hard to admit that team earned the title.

Honestly, that would have been a consolation prize. The only loss in 2010 that pissed me off was losing to the corndoggers. Even after losing to SC
we still had a chance to get back to the promised land. By the time of the Iron Bowl, it was pretty much over. We did kick Michigan State's arse though :yada: Enjoyed every second of that game
