And Gator insiders have been saying the opposite. Don't know how it is going to play out, guess we will see. Going to have to pay up, there is talk we could name him co-DC with Durkin.

FWIW:

"Former All-SEC Auburn safety Travaris Robinson, the secondary coach at Florida, is expected to join Muschamp on Auburn’s staff." This per PM who has been on top of this story the entire time and is confirmed by JH who is pretty reliable. PM has also stated the CWM wanted his other coaches finalized before he agreed to come to Auburn. Like all of these situations I have no idea what will happen but a recruits word vs. respected journalist. We'll see.

It is not just a recruits word, Florida insiders have been saying the same thing. T-Rob was expected to stay at UF no matter where Muschamp ended up. Things can change, but right now I wouldn't assume in either direction.

Rumor is that TRob just made an offer on a house in Auburn. More to come. Stay tuned.

PM just replied he would be very surprised if T-rob was staying. Said something drastic would have had to have happened in the last few hours.

He just made an offer on a house? It is almost 1 AM in Gainesville, who makes offers on homes at this hour?

Muschamp landing at Auburn was the one place that put T-Rob in jeopardy. I'm sure we will find out tomorrow one way or the other. He has been out recruiting alongside Mac the past week.

Apparently not, I haven't followed the Muschamp stuff all too closely

Congrats on T-Rob. That is one guy it hurts to lose in this coaching change, but nevertheless the move had to be made.

The USCe "insider" they were clinging on is actually a realtor. He said late last week that BOOM had made an offer on a house there. I was poking fun at that.

It is still not official. As of this moment, T-Rob is still on contract, still going to practices and supposedly Auburn has yet to contact UF seeking permission to talk to him. I still think it is pretty much done, but you never know.

FWIW, latest update from the Gator side:
quote:

“@ZachAbolverdi: Sources close to Travaris Robinson say he has not made a job decision & has several factors to consider in the coming weeks. #Gators #Auburn”
