People are forgetting that when Auburn has good RB play...

They usually do well. The focus is all on the QB, but if the offensive line and RB core can play like they did when Trey Mason was there, then Auburn will be successfull. They had pretty good RB play when Cam was there too. They also had decent receivers. The receiver play hasn't been there the past two years.

It's more like at some point everyone figured out what David Blaine was doing

So you're saying that if they have good QB, RB, OL, and WR play that they will be good?
Brilliant.
Brilliant.

A lot of people think they'll be bad mostly because of the defense

Didn't we hear that bullshite when Cam left? Then Nick Marshall comes along, and we get to hear it all over again when he left. The SEC teams haven't figured out anything. Gus doesn't hide what he does. But he does need players that can execute.
Anyway, to answer the OP. I am excited to watch Robinson this year. We saw hints last year (still not sure why Gus quit feeding him the ball in the UGA and IB games, he was tearing their defenses up in the 1st half).

Jovon is no Trey Mason, and Kerryon can't run between the tackles. They have no depth either.

My concern for Auburn is not that I think they will have a woeful defense. They have done well with a poo defense.
Its that Gus has increasingly shown a tendency to go to well once too often of late. Too many HB dives in a row that end with a gassed running back staggering to the line.
I think Gus can be a brilliant coach. But I think he needs to take a step back and think things through a bit longer this year. A well executed power spread option team from Auburn would be all kinds of trouble.

No, what I'm saying is everyone is blaming the QB situation and the coaching, but in all honestly it's a lack of performance from RB and WR. Cam was a great player but he did have help. It's not Jeremy Johnsons fault that their offense was crap last year.

Auburn will always have a good running back. When the qb sucks then everyone can stop the run, when the qb is good or can run that is what makes their offense difficult to stop...

The key at Auburn, as it is for every offense I can think of, is the offensive line.

A good QB would definitely help, but I think we just witnessed a down year from their RBs and WRs. Auburns offense can explode with the right players.

Auburn sucks and is in decline.

Yall should just rest your starters for the SEC Championship then.

What we have learned about the Gus offense is that he needs a QB that can run the show.
That QB needs to be able to make quick (and good) decisions, and if he is super fast, that is helpful too.
I don't see that on Auburn's roster.
A good RB in that offense will only take you so far if the defense isn't afraid of the QB hurting them either with his arm or his legs. Even with a good OL.
