I suspect Finebaum hires actors for some of this shite. Phyllis from Mulga cannot be real. There are one or two others. I think Finebaum uses that as a method to stir up the other real gomers who then call in and act naturally stupid.
I can pretty much also guarantee that if Bobby Hebert pulled something similar on his show you'd get the swamp people calling in as well for ELESHU.

Paul is a piece of shite who intends to exploit the tards. Quite a bit are regulars. I don't like bama but I'd hate if the jerry springer of CFB did this with our tards. If he emerged earlier Florida or LSU could have been the victim here.

Considering that the show is live 2-5pm, I doubt many educated people with jobs have time to be on hold an hour to call into a radio show. Its like asking why the 3am Waffle House crowd near a campus is so rowdy.

It has to be for the real fans who actually attended and/or graduated at Alabama. I feel sorry for the state of Alabama as they project to the rest of the sports world that listens that all of us that live here in Alabama are like them. I grew up in Mobile, and went to LSU, but I am totally embarrassed how this show represents the good people in the State of Alabama. Bama has more of these fans I think than any other SEC fanbase. I wish they would reject the callers and just do analysis and guest interviews. It's made Paul Finebaum a millionaire though so he will not quit.

I honestly don't know anyone who listens to him anymore. I stopped listening to sports radio over the last few years or so - gradually getting to where I am now - completely having it off my car's buttons.

I've always said TD is like therapy for LSU fans. We do our ranting here...pun intended...and get it out of our systems.
