Finebalm used to write a good article and he used to do a great interview. I gave up on his bullshite radio show years ago and I've never seen the TV show.
The dude is a freaking genius though - he has banked millions just for whoring himself out as the front man for the crazy arse fans from the state of Alabama.

Gotta admit... Pawl does have a face for radio.
I did my own research on his show a few months back. What I found was astonishing. There were two types of people predominately in SEC land:
1. Those that listened/watch his show
2. Those that listen/watch his show and lie about it.

Or maybe just something else to compliment him. The Iron Bowl rivalry has it's place, and Birmingham is 100% SEC country. Houston, Dallas, Atlanta Nashville, Memphis, Orlando, Jacksonville, etc have pro teams. Birmingham has nothing else. Just having a "voice" that's maybe LSU/A&M/Arky centric, and a voice that's Florida/Georgia centric would be great.

This show is called the S E C Network for a reason. It is supposed to cover the S E C. Using bamasgot13 reasoning, no other teams should be covered beyond bama in football & UK in basketball. And I am curious as to who gets to determine who is "relevant"? Why, Pawwwl of course. UT actually lost its OC in the week/s leading up to NSD.That got a few minutes air time over one four hr. show. Kiffen was RUMORED to be leaving & Finebaum spent the most of 2 full days talking about it to any & all who called, especially his guests. My bitch is that he uses his S E C show to promote bama football & he's nothing but another recruiting tool for Saban. To repeat: "the 3 NC's that Alabama won were the 3 greatest days in my life". If it's to cover the entire league, then cover the entire league. Brando? God, no.

Trust me when I say this but when Alabama is average or sucks like in 06' FB is a HEAVY critic of them. But since Saban started kicking arse in 08' FB acts like a huge Bama homer and only because they are the top SEC team right now. He'll change colors quick though with any dropoff.
TB on the otherhand hates Bama all the time. He is a HUGE LSU homer regardless of their performance. So, which would you rather have a consistent Bama hater and LSU homer? Or one that changes allegiances with the wind?

I disagree. PF will criticize Bama coaches if they lose, and sometimes Bama admin, but it's always in the vein of "Coach X is unworthy of the greatness that is Bama." He will never mock or ridicule Alabama as an institution, which he regularly does to other schools (not just Auburn).
This has been his schtick since he was a newspaper hack in B'ham 30 years ago. He has taken it to a whole new level since Saban arrived.
